How You’ll Make an Impact

  • As a customer trainer, you will develop, customize and implement product training in operation and maintenance for our gas turbine customers. You will also participate in the development and implementation of product training for both local and regional Siemens-Energy personnel.
  • The role also includes participating in and driving the development of training activities in our new training facilities through the development of new training tools.
  • You will be expected to keep your technical knowledge of our products up to date through training and collaboration with other parts of the company.
  • The job spans a wide range of activities from quotation to course delivery, involving many contacts both internally and externally.
  • Most customer trainings are carried out at the customer's site somewhere in the world, which means traveling to the extent of one week per month. 

What You Bring

  • You have good technical knowledge of our gas turbines, gained from working in engineering or in the field with plant commissioning.
  • Good knowledge of operation, electricity and control systems is particularly advantageous.
  • To succeed as a customer trainer, you should be able to express yourself in both speech and writing and be comfortable speaking in front of a group.
  • The tasks require you to work in a structured manner and have good planning skills.
  • You need to be prepared to travel about 60 days per year. The duration of each trip is normally 1 to a maximum of 2 weeks.
  • You need good language skills in Swedish and English (both spoken and written). Additional language skills are an advantage.
